Here you will find all of the latest news and updates from the Chaplaincy Teams throughout the school.

There have been several whole school events involving the Chaplaincy Team this Term. Together as a community we celebrated the feast day of Blessed John Henry Newman with a wonderful Mass. We paid specific attention to the impact climate change is having on our world and expressed our promises to make a difference on beautiful hearts made from recycled paper. We thought about our wider community and how our actions every day have consequences on a world wide scale.  We made promises to be aware of our actions and prayed for those affected across the world.

November provided an opportunity to stop and reflect on Remembrance Day, as we drew together as a community to offer our thoughts and prayers for those who had lost their lives serving in wars and conflicts across the globe.  Working in collaboration with the History Department and members of our community who are currently involved in active Cadet service, we remembered past pupils of St Angela’s and St Michael’s schools who paid the greatest sacrifice they could to secure our freedom today.

Our wonderful Year 7s teamed up with Year 12 running partners to take part in our KiSS Fun Run raising money to support the KiSS Community in Uganda.  This was one of our first fundraising events on our school calendar to kick start this year’s support for the community we cherish.  Huge well done to all runners and walkers who completed the course- you did a wonderful job.
