We offer school-based Teacher Training with a number of high-quality training providers below. Candidates can specify The Saint John Henry Newman Catholic School as their first choice of school when they apply.

Stevenage School’s Partnership (PGCE and QTS)

The Stevenage School’s Partnership is based at The Nobel School. They work with the University of Hertfordshire to provide a comprehensive and engaging training programme that provides Qualified Teacher Status and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education.

The Diocese of Westminster Academy Trust (DoWAT) and st Mary’s university (PGCE and QTS)

The Diocese of Westminster Academy Trust and St Mary’s University are an established and experienced partnership. Headteachers, leaders of education, and classroom-based teachers plan and deliver a research-informed ITT curriculum. This course is designed to lead to a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), providing you with a solid foundation for your teaching career.
