Welcome to the Year 7 Virtual New Intake Evening for 2021

We are delighted to be able to share this evening with you and to help continue your journey toward becoming full members of the Saint John Henry Newman School Community. This evening will be broken down into three parts:

  • 6.00pm – Mr Mathew’s Welcome: Live via MS Teams.
  • 6.15pm – New Intake Meeting with your Form Tutor & New Form Group: Live via MS Teams.
  • 6.30pm – Live Content Ends: You will be directed to some additional pre-recorded video content.

For those of you who cannot make it, or who wish to revisit some of the content over the next few days, the live sessions will be available as a recorded video file at the bottom of this page.

Technical Advice

We are using Microsoft Teams (MS Teams) for the meeting. In order to join the different meetings, please simply click on the appropriate link below at the right time. If you have not used MS Teams before, when you click on the link please select that says “continue on this browser” and this will launch the meeting without you needing to download or install any additional software or apps. We have learned that these virtual events run most smoothly when each family limits their own connection to one device. We recommend that you do this wherever possible.
